TigerDirect.com

Quotes fast, new workflow

Set up an Insight business login, requested a quote, and got pricing back same day. Not the old TigerDirect, but workable.

Nostalgia met a redirect

I went looking for budget parts like it was 2015. Site pushed me to Insight instead. Nostalgia intact, carts not so much. B2B folks, proceed.

Business shift handled well

Clicked an old bookmark and got redirected to Insight. Sales helped set up a business account and quote comparable monitors and docks. The procurement flow is fine if you’re B2B, just different from the old cart. Consumer folks need a new home for parts.

Return handled efficiently

RMA request approved in a day. Instructions were clear and the refund posted shortly after delivery back.

Business order smooth

Got a fast quote for bulk SSDs, invoicing was clean, and shipping updates precise. Everything arrived sealed and tested fine. Will use again for upgrades.

Specs easy to compare

Signed in quickly and stacked filters for CPU and RAM. Product pages had PDFs and model numbers. Slight learning curve on refurb grades.

Business order handled well

Carted a few monitors and a UPS, used the quote option, and the rep confirmed stock quickly. One box arrived a day later, with clear tracking. What stood out was detailed product pages and easy invoice handling.

Specs and stock clearly shown

Found the exact CPU and RAM I needed, with compatibility notes. Checkout smooth, tracking instant. No surprises, just solid inventory.

Avoid this store!

My issue is exactly what I’m reading on other review sites—it was reliable before but isn't now. Purchased a laptop, they canceled it without informing me—many other reviews mention it’s to gather data and send spam to others. Just stay away.

Tiger Direct has a large warehouse north

Tiger Direct has a large warehouse north of Atlanta and a walk-in retail showroom. They offer some close-outs on computers, printers, and other electronics. But it's smart to compare prices to see if their close-out deals match those of other online stores for new models.

I purchased an iPad and MacBook

I purchased an iPad and MacBook separately, but both orders were mysteriously canceled without any notice. They've done this before with fake "sales," blaming it on human error, which is hard to believe given how often it happens. Seems like they're after customer info or dealing with cashflow problems, since I haven't been refunded. Avoid this place at all costs!

Spams

As others have mentioned, I'd advise against shopping there. They don't respect your orders, and you'll receive a lot of spam.

I got a Refurbished Lenovo Yoga 260

I got a Refurbished Lenovo Yoga 260 for my Granddaughter's Birthday. The price was great, shipping was less than a week, and it arrived in pristine condition. However, several of the keys, especially numbers, stick or do not work. I don't have the luxury of time to send it back, etc., especially after I purchased MS Office Pro and installed, so I will likely order a new keyboard and install it myself. I did download and install all of Lenovo's drivers, including keyboard, and update the BIOS, and still no resolve. Had the keyboard not been an issue, this would have been a five rating.
