I had to get my bank involved for a refund.

I saw an advertisement for lasta. I was given 70% off. So I showed have only been charged 29.99. I did not like how the app works so within 15 minutes I asked for a refund. Customer Service is so hard to contact. I went on my bank app to file a dispute and I saw that there was 2 transactions. One was for 30.00 then next was for 49.99, an ebook that they never mentioned. I disputed both charges. Because I agreed to 29.99 not 30. Or 49.99. They should be honest. Then I received an email stating that they will not refund me because I didn't request a refund within 14 day, I requested a refund within 30 minutes. This company is very dishonest. I just received an email stating they will refund my payment, but within 10 days, but in the meantime can I cancel my dispute with my bank. Absolutely not, not until I see my refund! Horrible dishonest and condescending business to say the least.

issues with Lasta

I signed up for Lasta. After looking at the program and realizing they wanted me to start immediately, I canceled within 2 days because I was on vacation. A week later I sent a reply through their support page (because I can't find a phone number) asking them to let me know that they canceled my subscription. Now I see that they have not refunded my Paypal account and they charged me an additiona $41 for something. I sent another note on the support site again today. I also asked Paypal to look into this.

Buyer beware. Read everything to know what you are signing. Very easy to sign up, but good luck trying to change something or get support around your account. You don't even have access to your own account information! You have to email that you need support and wait a couple of days for them to get back to you before you can even put your question into an email.

I'm pretty pumped about sticking with the Lasta app for my weight loss journey. Other places I've tried just push junk products at me. Lasta doesn't do that. It gives me actual helpful info on why I eat too much or too little. I've learned I gotta watch my carb intake, especially with stuff like fruit, nuts, seeds, bread (like sourdough), and veggies. I'm really hyped about it!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. It is impossible to unsubscribe. No support. No response to email. Uncontactable by phone. Feels like an dishonest untrustworthy scam. My next bill is in July and I do not want continue paying for an app I'm not going to use. Signed up for 3 months but don't want to continue. Poor and unprofessional. I'll be contacting my bank. Have also written to Google play.

Not cancelling my trial

So I did the 7 day trial. I was unable to even get into the app because apparently my email wasn’t valid… well. I then contacted lasta support immediately. On 04/29/24 I sent them multiple emails stating that I wanted everything cancelled and I do not want to be charged. They finally responded on 05/01/24 confirming email “Please be informed that the auto-prolongation option has been disabled for your existing orders and you will not be billed in the future.” email from lasta!! So now on 05/12/24 I realize there is another 50$ charge to my account…. To say the least I am absolutely NOT happy. And if this doesn’t get resolved I’m going to be even more pissed. Do not use this bs app… I want to say it’s a scam. If I could rate them ZERO I would’ve!

I CANCELLED MY SUBSCIPTION THE DAY IT WAS DONE ON 4/22/24 AND THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT 4/23/24 WHICH WAS A SUNDAY AND WAS IMMEDIATELY TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ON MONDAY 4/24/24. THEY DIDNT EVEN WAIT 7 DAYS. I WILL REPORT THEM.

I wanted to cancel my membership. I did not expect it to be common knowledge stuff that I could get anywhere for free.I wrote them and asked to be canceld and not to be billed because I no longer use this service as of 4/20/2024 and never will. I got the service for 1 month paid and it is not what I expected. As per the information that was advertised I could Cancel my membership at any time and not have auto renewel. I also asked to be sent verification that the service is canceled. I did get a response asking g if I wanted a discount t to continue. I replied again no and to please cancel. I have wrote them several times and still not canceled!!! I'm gonna cancel my payment method. Which I also informed them in writing.
