Don't use this company

My girlfriend and I decided to enroll our dog, Zoee, in Dogwise's "4-Week Anxiety Rehab" program, hoping it would help with her social anxiety and improve her basic obedience. We shelled out $3,750 for it, but honestly, it was a disaster. Zoee came back more anxious, and her obedience wasn’t any better. When we reached out to Dogwise, they just suggested more of the same training, which her trainer said could make things worse. We asked for a refund, but the CEO, Sean Devereux, was not helpful. After a lot of back and forth, they offered only a 50% refund. This whole experience was exhausting and frustrating, and I regret trusting them with Zoee. If you're considering Dogwise, think twice.

Dogwise Academy is a complete disaster. We sent our two dogs, Blue and Bella, hoping they'd learn some manners. Instead, they came back worse. They didn't learn a thing, and the staff was totally unprofessional. We even got scammed out of our money. The new leashes and collars we sent them with? Gone. They came back with old, worn-out ones and no bells. Our poor dogs looked like they hadn't eaten properly. The trainer told my daughter they were too young to train, so why did they even take them? No refund, no answers. My kids were heartbroken because we had to give Bella away. Avoid this place at all costs. They’ll neglect your pets and steal your money.

We specifically mentioned his habits: chewing on everything, jumping on folks, counter surfing, and pulling on the leash. But when Louie returned, he was the same mischievous furball. Nothing had changed. We reached out to them, and they promised to set up extra training sessions, but months have passed without a word. It's frustrating, and honestly, I regret trusting them with Louie. I wish we’d gone somewhere else. It feels like a lot of money wasted and time lost.

I brought my 12-week-old Cane Corso Great Dane puppy to this training program, thinking she'd come back well-trained and healthy. Instead, she returned looking underfed, with her ribs showing, and only gained 4 pounds over three weeks. It was really tough getting her back, and the whole experience was stressful. The trainer, Jason, only managed to teach her to heel, but she doesn’t respond to sit, down, or stay commands at all. It's disappointing and feels like a waste of money. If Jason’s your trainer, be prepared for frustration. I hoped for a better experience and definitely won’t be recommending this program to other pet owners.

They admitted the trainer wasn't skilled with my dog's breed and told me to contact her directly. When I wrote a bad review, the owner offered help only if I removed it. After days of back and forth with no solution, I gave up. They ruined my dog and took my money. Avoid this place if you care about your dog.

I took my dog to this place, and it was just a nightmare. My poor pup came back with some scratches and seemed really scared, which broke my heart. It's like they don't even care about the animals they're supposed to be looking after. The staff didn't seem to know how to handle dogs properly, and it showed. If you love your pet, I’d definitely suggest finding somewhere else where they actually know what they’re doing and care about the animals.

I was heartbroken after what I saw at this place. It's one thing to trust someone with your pet, but seeing how they let their trainers treat the animals was just too much. The CEO apparently knew all about it and only acted when people started complaining online. It's so frustrating when businesses think they can gaslight their customers into thinking everything's okay. I just can't recommend leaving your furry friend here. It's supposed to be a safe place, but the way things are handled is just not right. Animals deserve respect and care, and that's not what they're getting here.

When my mom's dog came back after a month, she was a mess. She used to be so lively, but now she’s all skin and bones, scared of everything around her. She's peeing everywhere and has become aggressive to both dogs and cats. It's like she's a different dog. Her ribs and hip bones are sticking out, and it breaks my heart to see her like this. I have years of experience with dogs, and this is just unacceptable. She was perfectly healthy before. Whatever happened there, it was awful. They don’t even deserve a single star. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

DESTROYED MY DOG

My dog left mischievous . He came back cujo. Very reactive and traumatized. They dont do refunds and their response was to not take him outside to dr's appointments, parks, or the yard without a leash an electric collar. Get an expensive one and use high voltage or he may not respond. He looked under weight and I honestly dont believe that they fed him til time to come home. Do not use this company. They are unethical scam artists and they will break your dog

Did nothing but not feed her

We only have two things walking better on leash and not to attack the cats and she can do neither. They didn’t do anything but stave her. She came back skin and bones. Her ribs are showing and her back end bones are showing. She is now afraid of everything, she was a happy loving dog and now she very timid. What the hell did you do to my sisters dog. Dog is a pit bull and her name is Jazzy. If I could rate lower I would. Minus 10.
