I had to reach out to customer service twice recently. First, I needed help with a jammed lock barrel and, after sending a few pictures of the issue, I quickly got a new lock at no cost. Next, I tried to order a replacement key for a different lock, but the website wouldn’t process my payment. They still said they would handle the request for me at no cost. Fast and helpful service, though they could work on their site a bit.

I've had Fahgettaboudit mini

I've had Fahgettaboudit mini locks for about 12 years. Never had my bike stolen when using this lock (5 thefts with other locks). I oil the lock sometimes, as you'd expect. When I lose keys, customer service helps a lot. Fahgettaboudit mini is truly the safest lock, way better than others.

I submitted a request for

I submitted a request for a replacement key for a lock on June 10th (ref #421312) through the website. It took more than a month, until July 20th, to receive a response confirming that the order will be placed. As of October 15th, I still have not received any confirmation of dispatch or the keys! I'm curious if others have been encountering similar delays. The process is incredibly slow. I even sent another ticket on the website to follow up, but I haven't received a response. I'm really hoping that this review will prompt someone to send the key, especially since I subsequently lost my second original key and can no longer use my bike.

The security offer from Kryptonite

The security offer from Kryptonite isn't worth the paper it's written on. After my bike got stolen at work, I filed a claim as my lock was broken when the bike was taken. I never got any acknowledgment from Kryptonite despite following their claim FAQ correctly. It's been over 2 years now and I haven't got a reply. My advice is to get a good padlock from any well-known brand and add a thick chain... and get some bike insurance because you'll never hear from Kryptonite, who are basically selling lies to cyclists.

I've been using one of their supposedly "most secure locks" for two years. Unfortunately, my bike was stolen two months ago, even with the lock on. I reached out to them, provided the police report number, and opened two tickets for the theft protection they claim to offer, but I haven't received any response whatsoever. I specifically chose this lock because of its theft protection promise, but it's been a complete letdown. The lock didn't live up to its claims, and their customer service has been non-existent. I would strongly advise avoiding their products and services.

The customer service provided is simply appalling. I made a claim for a free set of keys over a month ago due to losing mine, and I have not received any response. The lack of a UK contact number makes it even more challenging to get assistance. Even when trying to contact them via email, I have not received any response. I will never purchase a lock from them again, as the thought of making a guarantee claim is too stressful and appears to be a significant hassle. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

The prolonged delay has left me bikeless and incurred additional expenses on alternative transportation. After reading other reviews, it’s clear that my situation is not one-of-a-kind. My Kryptonite lock worked fine for years, but the key broke off inside, and I couldn’t get it out with any tools. I made a claim, but I’ve heard NOTHING back. It’s misleading to advertise a 'Lifetime warranty.' Maybe mention in the fine print that it’ll take a lifetime to get any response.

Waited for over 2 weeks for a warranty claim response via their website with no luck. Desperate for a bike lock, I ordered a new one for my commute. Unfortunately, it's been over a week since I placed the order, and it's still not here. Extremely disappointed with their service.

Once more, I’m left writing a poor review!! This is my 3rd review for this business. I’ve been sent two replacement keys, and neither works. I raised a ticket almost two weeks ago, but no response yet!! Terrible custumer service, and I’m still without a key :(
