In my dog's case, however, she was just too sensitive for that sort of training collar so at the suggestion of my vet, we went with a different option. We've been using Dogtra Pathfinder dog GPS

We've been using Dogtra Pathfinder dog GPS collars for about 4 years now. The collars work great and the customer service is really good. In the 4 years we've had the GPS collars, they've never let us down. If we had any trouble using or figuring out a feature, the staff at Dogtra were really helpful and got us sorted. The pathfinder and pathfinder 2 both sync well with our mapping software, making it so much easier to track our k9s during searches. I strongly suggest either the pathfinder or pathfinder 2.

I found it a bit tricky to get myself and my dog

I found it a bit tricky to get myself and my dog set up on the screen. Probably because I'm not very used to this kind of tech. It would be nice if Dogtra kept in mind that many of their customers grew up without all these gadgets. A more simple, step-by-step guide would make things easier. Somehow, my Pathfinder2 did work well enough in the end, but not without making me a bit inpatient. - Mike

The dogtrac 1902s is a nice product. It really helps with training. The one thing I would change is the knob for changing the intencity to something easier to use with one hand.

From the easy phone menu with just two choices to connect with a live person (unlike most companies that make it tough to talk to someone), to how fast a representative responds and their deep product knowledge and friendly manner. Today's chat with Blake was just as good. He explained the differences between the original pathfinder and pathfinder 2 since I only had the original and was thinking of getting the 2 to use the original as a backup for my daily use with my dog on walls, hikes, and bike rides. The Dogtra collars are very useful and essential for me. I bought the 2 from Blake and am excited to receive it!
