Beware of This Service: Misleading Promises, Poor Customer Support, and Financial Stress

I initially signed up for this service with high hopes, enticed by their promise of a dedicated coach to help guide me through the process. The person who originally contacted me was fantastic—she convinced me that this service was exactly what I needed to grow my business. However, after signing up, I was shocked to find that instead of the coach I was promised, I was assigned a remote assistant with a foreign accent, which was a completely different experience than what I was led to expect. While I did sign up for a one-year, one-time payment plan, I was blindsided when they charged me 56 days after the annual renewal payment was due. This unexpected charge put me in a very stressful financial situation, leaving me unable to pay my mortgage. When I reached out to them, desperate for a refund, they were incredibly unhelpful and simply cited "policy" as the reason for refusing my request. Despite their claim of handling matters on a case-by-case basis, they showed minimal empathy or understanding for my situation. I had to practically beg and humiliate myself, explaining that I was living paycheck to paycheck and that this charge was going to have severe consequences for me. Only after this did they agree to a partial refund, but not without forcing me into another one-year contract at over $200 a month. There was no option for a cancellation fee, very minimal flexibility—just a demand to continue paying them. This entire experience has left me severely stressed, $200 short on my mortgage, and locked into a contract with a company that clearly cares more about squeezing money out of their customers than providing genuine support or understanding. To add insult to injury, I even told them how effective their service was—I got one of my first listings through their book—yet they still showed no concern for my financial well-being or my request to cancel. In short, while the service itself might deliver results, the customer service is downright appalling. They lured me in with false promises, caused me financial distress, and then trapped me in a contract that I didn’t want to be in. I cannot in good conscience recommend this service to anyone who values transparent communication, financial stability, and decent customer support.

UNAUTHOIRZED CHARGE OF $1,000 FROM MY CARD AND THEY REFUSE TO RETURN

REN of AUTHORIFY just posed a bogus lie to keep my money. Ren of AUTHORIFY you people are despicable. I entered by credit card for shipping ONLY of the free books. I did not order a membership. I read the AUTHORIFY reviews after I discovered you stole my money and you did the same thing to other people. One guy reviewed that you stole $97.00 a month for many months. Other lady reviewed that AUTHORIFY stole $147.00 month for 6 months. Authority picks any number from the sky and does not tell the person that the card will be charged for a membership we DID NOT ORDER. You stole $299 a month for 4 months, After I sent and email and told you not to charge my card, AUTHORIFY had the audacity to charge it again the next day. I contacted my bank and my card was closed due to FRAUD. AUTHORIFY IS UNETHICAL, crooks, steal money, refuse to refund it. NEVER USE THIS CROOKED COMPANY. NEVER PUT A CREDIT DOWN FOR FREE BOOKS. It's all a ploy to get your credit card information. My attorney will sue the shit out of them for their fraudulent practices. They make of policies just to steal and keep your money. AUTHORIFY HAS NOT HEARD THE LAST OF ME. I WANT A REFUND FOR THE MONEY YOU STOLE. THE BOGUS RESPONSE YOU JUST POSTED IS A FLAT OUT LIE.

Buyer beware

Authorify uses negative option autorenewal policies & business practices. I never signed a multi-year contract. I made a decision to work with this company a couple years ago and only signed a one-year contract. I can no longer afford the services or products going into the 3rd year so had no intention of renewing contract. They upgraded my account and autorenewed it without permission for another full year and took a payment from my credit card of $2,590.00. I called them to let them know I did not authorize the autorenewal, or upgrade and that I wanted to cancel my membership. They would not let me cancel my membership and would not let me get a refund. Reasons they gave are that in the contract I signed a couple years ago, they had the right to autorenew. I didn't know my account manager and they haven't called me for over a year. Their negative option renewal contract is like dealing with the mafia when they don't let you cancel. Only sending emails that don't require approval and not calling for approval of a renewal is criminal, shady and extremely unethical. That is what negative autorenewal business practices are all about. Why would anyone work with this type of company?

DO NOY USE AUTHORIFY. IT IS A BOGUS SCAM COMPANY THAT TOOK MY MONEY UNAUTHORIZED. I PUT MY CREDIT CARD IN TO PAY FOR SHIPPING OF FREE BOOKS. THEN THE COMPANY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR 4 MONTHS AT $299 A MONTH. I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THESE CHARGES. MY CREDIT CARD WAS CLOSED DUE TO THEIR FRAUD AND THEY REFUSE TO RETURNB MY MONEY. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY. THEY HAVE BAD RATINGS WITH THE BBB.

STAY AWAY

You will not get results from this company. Their main goal is to get your credit card number and recurring billing even if you don't use their service. I ordered books that never arrived. STAY AWAY!
