Horrible experience

I had a very disappointing experience with HVAC Direct. I purchased an AC unit, expecting delivery within a week as stated on their website. Instead, I waited over eight weeks without receiving any updates. This delay significantly impacted my family's health, especially living in Florida where AC is essential. During this time, HVAC Direct falsely claimed they had the unit in stock. To make matters worse, they canceled my order without informing me. I had paid for the unit through Bread Financial, which not only affected my credit but also led to a payment being taken despite not receiving the product. When I tried to communicate with HVAC Direct, I encountered rude customer service and was simply told my order was canceled, without any explanation or attempt to rectify the situation. They refused to replace the unit, leaving my family to suffer in the heat. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would caution others against using HVAC Direct.

Unfortunately, the fan blade set screw was not properly secured to the fan motor shaft, resulting in immediate damage to the aluminum blades during startup. Shopping here is simple. Prices are reasonable. The delivery guy could have been better. He wouldn't bring the unit to my home, so I had to get a trailer and meet him at a parking area to get the load. There wasn’t any info online about when to expect the delivery, which made planning difficult. I had to rush to make it work with the shipper. The unit came in great shape. I look forward to setting it up.

I strongly advise against dealing with this company. My second purchase turned into a nightmare as they shipped the wrong furnace and AC unit, completely different from what I paid for. Shockingly, Alisha admitted they decided to swap products, which is clearly illegal. This place deserves to be shut down. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear; this place is a disappointment!

The company sent us products from 2021 instead of the current ones in 2024. We thought we bought new units, but they turned out to be refurbished. We got five systems, but three of them didn't even start. Now, they're asking for $1200 for shipping, even though our transport company charges only $635.
